"I don't drive more than 10 minutes for ice cream — definitely not 30-plus — but we made an exception while staying in Raymond to check out Long Lake Creamery over in Harrison. Verdict? Worth it. The soft chocolate ice cream was some of the creamiest we’ve ever had, the sundae (peanut butter and hot fudge, yes please) was massive and delicious and they had so many flavors of ice cream to choose from. We also loved the homemade cones, the friendly staff and the pretty spot right on the water."

"If you know, you know.... there's just nothing like Long Lake creamery! This isn't just a place to grab the best ice cream- it's a place where memories are made. From the very first scoop to the friendly smiles behind the counter, you can feel the love and care that goes into everything they do. It's owned by the kindest small business owners (Tracy & Brian) who truly care about their customers and their community. They go above and beyond-every single time. The customer service is unmatched, the ice cream is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere just feels like home. Whether it's a stop after a summer swim, a family tradition, or just a treat-yourself moment Long Lake Creamery always delivers. Thank you for being such a special part of our family memories! You've earned the title as best in town & in our hearts!!!"

"I’m not sure what all the complaints are regarding meager sizes; this “medium” was massive. Gifford’s ice cream is not my favorite, but the portions were generous. My party of ten all had their ice cream selections within five minutes of order placement. Don’t listen to the recent haters. Note: one of the old photos shows a “cash only” sign but they are now accepting cards. 4% price reduction for cash purchases (ATM next door)."

"A fun place to visit, either by boat or by car. They sell lots of Gifford's hard serve flavors and all sorts of soft serves, many things you never would have thought could be ice cream. Its a very small shop with only one window for taking orders, because of this it takes a long time to get your ice cream."

"My son dropped his ice cream in the dirt immediately after receiving it and the owner saw this. Without being prompted or asked, the owner had a new ice cream made for my son, free of charge. The ice cream is very good and the location is amazing, but this type of generosity is what makes this place great."
